Emily is a first-generation jeweller creating unique collections and one-off pieces.
Before studying Jewellery and silversmithing at the Birmingham School of Jewellery, Emily was interested in pursuing a career in Architecture, after considering her future she decided she needed a more hands-on artistic career which sparked an interest in Jewellery. In her studies currently, she has a heavy focus on stone setting and creating designs that showcase the best of the gemstones being used.
January 2023 marked the completion of an incredible shared workshop space her partner built which allowed her to expand her work area and gave the opportunity to purchase tools to create more complex pieces of work.
Naturalistic motifs occur frequently in her designs as well as strong connections to architectural styles and elements. You will see organic shapes along with crisp lines contrasting in her pieces.
Gemmology
Emily has always had a strong interest in gemstones from a young age and decided to pursue this side of the industry when she started studying at the School of Jewellery.
She started her Gem-A foundation course in October 2022 and has gone on to start her Gem-A diploma in October 2023.
